SMS Track system 911M Mobile Tracking
Cellphone tracking tracks the current position of a cellular telephone even for your move. To locate the phone, it must give off at least the roaming signal to contact an upcoming nearby antenna tower, but the process does not want an active call. GSM localization is then done by multilateration with regards to the signal strength to adjacent antenna masts. In order to route calls to your phone the cell towers listen for a signal sent from the phone and talk terms which tower is best able to communicate with all the phone. As the phone changes location, the towers monitor the signal and the phone is switched to a different tower as appropriate. By comparing the relative signal strength from multiple towers a general location of a phone can be determined. The technology of tracking is based on measuring power levels and antenna patterns and uses the concept that a cell always communicates wirelessly with one of the closest base stations, so if you know which base station the phone communicates with, you know that the phone is around the respective base station. Advanced systems determine the sector in which the cell resides and roughly estimate also the distance to the base station. Further estimate can be done by interpolating signals between adjacent antenna towers. Qualified services may achieve a precision of down to 50 meters in urban areas where mobile traffic and density of antenna towers (base stations) is sufficiently high. Rural and desolate areas may see miles between base stations and therefore determine locations less precisely. Operational purpose. In order to route calls to a phone the cell towers listen for a signal sent from the phone and negotiate which tower is best able to communicate with the phone. As the phone changes location, the antenna towers monitor the signal and the phone is roamed to an adjacent tower as correct. By comparing the relative signal strength from multiple antenna towers a general location of a phone can be approximately set. Other means is the antenna pattern that supports angular purpose and phase favouritism. Newer phones may also allow the tracking of the phone even when randy and not active in a phone call -. This results from the roaming operations that perform hand over of the phone from one base station to another. The rule of tracking is based on GSM localization. GLOBAL SYSTEM FOR MOBILE COMMUNICATION (GSM). GSM (Global System for Mobile communications) is the most popular standard for cellphone in the world. Its promoter, the GSM Association, prices that 82 % of the global mobile market uses the standard. GSM is used by over 3 billion people across more 212 countries and territories. Its ubiquitousness makes international roaming very common between cellphone operators, enabling subscribers to use their phones in many parts of the world. GSM differs from its harbingers in this both signaling and speech channels are digital, and thus is named a second generation (2G) cellphone system. This has also meant that digital communication was easy to establish into the system. The ubiquity of the GSM standard is definitely an advantage to both consumers (who benefit from the ability to roam and switch carriers without switching phones) and also to network operators (who can choose equipment from any of the many sellers implementing GSM). GSM also initiated a low cost (to the network carrier) alternative to voice calls, the Short message service (SMS, also called "text messaging"), which is now supported on other mobile standards also. Another advantage is that the standard includes one worldwide Emergency phone number ; 112This makes it easier for international travelers to connect to emergency services without knowing the local emergency number. Newer versions of the standard were backward-compatible with the original GSM phones. For example, Release '97 of the standard added packet data capablenesses, by means of General Packet Radio Service (GPRS). Release' 99introduced higher speed data transmission using Enhanced Data Rates for GSM Evolution (EDGE). GSM security. GSM was designed with a restrained level of security. The system was designed to authenticate the subscriber using a pre-shared key and challenge-response. Communications between the subscriber and the base station can be encrypted. The development of UMTS introduces an optional USIM, that uses a longer authentication key to give greater security, as well as reciprocally authenticating the network and the user whereas GSM only authenticates the user to the network (and not the other way around). The security model therefore offers confidentiality and certification, but limited authorization capablenesses, and no non-repudiation. GSM uses several cryptological algorithms for security. Global Positioning System. The Global Positioning System (GPS) is the only fully functional Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS). The GPS uses a configuration of between 24 and 32 Medium Earth Orbit satellites that transmit precise microwave signals, which enable GPS receivers to determine their current location, the time, and their velocity (including direction). GPS was developed by the United States Department of Defense. Global Positioning System (GPS) is comprised of 24 U.S. government owned satellites that circle 12,000 miles above the earth, twice a day in precise orbits, so that several are always in view from any position. The system is designed to provide worldwide positioning services with an accuracy ranging from 10 to15 meters. Instant location information enables users to ascertain exactly where their vehicles or assets are at anytime, anywhere in the world. Due to minor timing errors and satellite orbit errors, however, more precise accuracies are unattainable with standard GPS. Atmospheric conditions can also affect GPS signals and their arrival time on Earth.

The Benefits of Breakups | Quality Life Resources

?Breakup? is a word that has always been associated with a sense of sadness, frustration and depression. However, have you ever thought that breakups could also be inspiring? If you find this idea bizarre, then some high profile celebrity breakups will change your view for sure. While some of these celebrity split-ups taught the masses new techniques of parenting, others proved how life post divorce could be more successful. It?s certain that you are becoming inquisitive now. So, read further to know who broke up and what we learnt in the process:

Successful co-parenting:

Screen shot from YouTube at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cbc0VR1rBVI

The sad breakup of Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes does not appear to be sad for their daughter Suri at all. Previously, Tom and Kat would fight for not meeting each other for days even while staying under the same roof. The victim in the whole process would always be the little Suri, who would miss quality time spent with her parents, and the bitter conflict acted as an obstacle in her healthy mental growth. But now she can spend ?daddy-daughter? time much more and better without her busy papa?s professional commitments and tight schedule interfering in it. We can learn from here that divorces can actually pave way to successful co-parenting.
Revival of self confidence:

Although the usual scenario after divorce is depression and lost confidence, Tina Turner appears to be an exceptional case. While marriage with Ike Turner was a sad saga of bitterness, humiliation, abuses and physical torture, life post divorce gave Tina success, fame and money! The marriage left her so pissed off that she even chose not to wangle with the settlement money. After divorce, she bounced back again in 1979 with the aid of the record promoter Roger Davias, and soon there was no looking back.

More focus in career:

Now this is another exception where marriage makes your career take a nosedive and divorce helps it prosper! This was the case with Alec Bladwin. His marriage with Kim Basinger was never successful and internal sources reveal that it was the nasty temper of Alec that was the primary culprit. Their personal strife became quite public by the year 2000 and the couples decided to part ways in January 2001. It seems that this was not enough to distract Alec from his professional commitments, as the horrible custody battle over their daughter worked as a bonus on this! All these made Alec wash his hands off the celluloid world for the time being! His stagnant career took six years long to revive post divorce when Tina Fey rediscovered him and casted him as the ?oily? network executive Jack Doughney in her ?30 Rock?. The natural knack for comedy bolstered and re-established the career of a more focused Alec now.

Maintaining friendship as it was:

Who does not know that friendship is a sacred term that should never be mixed up with other things? But how many of us really wish to be good friends with our exes post divorce? Perhaps friendship dies as soon as we enter into wedlock. So, the question of maintaining it after divorce never arises. However, exceptions are always there and this time Courtney Cox and David Arquette is our exemplary couple. They kept aside their marital difference by tagging it as ?irreconcilable?, but this has never hampered their friendship at all. The couples opine that post separation they could communicate with each other better and respect each other more.

Do you have stories like these to share with us? They can be your friend?s, your colleague?s or even just yours. What else have you learnt from those experiences? Do you agree that breakups are not always devastating? Share your thoughts with us!

Jays' Bautista to have season-ending wrist surgery

(AP) ? Toronto Blue Jays slugger Jose Bautista will have season-ending surgery to stabilize a tendon in his left wrist.

Bautista said before Tuesday night's game against the New York Yankees that the recovery period is three to four months and he would be ready to play long before the start of spring training next year.

"There's just too much instability in that tendon and it got to the point where risking injuring the tendon was not worth it," Bautista said. "That's why we're opting to do it now."

Bautista was initially injured in an at-bat against the Yankees on July 16. He chose to give rest and rehab a try and he returned from the disabled list Friday. But he says, while he did not experience any pain, he felt the tendon moving around too much and was taken out of the game against the Baltimore Orioles on Saturday. The two-time defending AL home run champion was immediately put back on the DL and sent to Cleveland to see a hand specialist.

Dr. Thomas Graham will perform the operation next week in Cleveland.

"Luckily for me the tendon is completely intact," Bautista said. "He just needs to make it stable again."

Manager John Farrell said Bautista made it through his rehabilitation program without issue. But the instability he was feeling when he returned was what prompted the recommendation for surgery.

"It's a definitive plan going forward," Farrell said. "The tough thing through all this is Jose never felt any discomfort but, yet, he didn't feel the strong stable feeling he typically does."

Bautista spoke with Tampa Bay Rays outfielder Sam Fuld, who had similar surgery this spring after a more extended period of rest and immobilization. Bautista did not want to risk missing time next year by trying lengthy rest since it didn't work for Fuld.

After a slow start in which his average didn't rise above .200 until mid-May, Bautista finished with a .241 average, 27 homers and 65 RBIs in 92 games.

"I didn't have the consistency I wanted to but I think I picked it up on a production level and I was able to contribute," Bautista said. "What I really wanted to do, and I said this many times, was remain healthy but unfortunately I wasn't able to."

Farrell said rookie Moises Sierra would get most of the action in right field in place of Bautista until Triple-A Las Vegas' season is over and Anthony Gose returns to share playing time.

Balsamic Pasta Salad with Grilled Veggies

Balsamic Pasta Salad with Grilled Veggies

Some would think that grilling season is almost over.? For us, however, it?s far from over.? It neverreally ends at my house.? A couple of winters ago Kansas City found itself in the midst of some crazy snowstorms and several feet of snow on the ground, and this happened several times.? Said snow did not stop my husband from grilling.

We just love to grill?well, Paul loves to grill.? He?s truly talented when it comes to grilling.? He (unlike me) takes his time and is so thoughtful when he picks out flavors to use and how hot he wants the coals.? Yes, coals, he will only grill on our charcoal Weber grill.

And when we decided to stay in on a recent Friday night, we picked a menu of grilled chicken and veggies.? And Paul picked this Star Fine Foods olive oil out of the cabinet.? I took this as the hint that it was and I?m so glad that I did.? These infused oils are top-notch.? The infused oil was perfect for these veggies and even better with the pasta salad?.which I made the following day with the leftover grilled veggies.? And Star Fine Foods is offering a fun giveaway, including balsamic vinegar and olive oil, to one of you, see below to enter!

I usually make way too many grilled veggies.? First because I?m always afraid that there won?t be enough.? I end up cutting up a few extra of each because inevitably I?ll end up snacking on a couple of tomatoes and peppers before they even make it to the grill.? But second, because I adore leftover veggies.? I?d had this balsamic pasta salad on my mind for days and I couldn?t imagine any better addition that the leftover grilled veggies!

Balsamic Pasta Salad with Grilled Veggies

Yield: 4 servings

Total Time: 15 minutes

A quick & simple recipe for using leftover grilled veggies. Fresh pasta is combined with leftover grilled vegetables and added to a simple balsamic vinaigrette for a side dish or main dish.

Ingredients:

8 ounces pasta
2 Tbs. Star Fine Foods balsamic vinegar
1 Tbs. Star Fine Foods olive oil
1/2 tsp. dried thyme
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 cups grilled veggies (I used leftover grilled veggies, see note below)
2 ounces goat cheese crumbles, optional

Directions:

Cook pasta according to package directions.

Meanwhile, mix the balsamic vinegar, olive oil, thyme, salt and pepper in a large bowl.

Drain the pasta and add to the bowl with the balsamic vinaigrette. Stir well to coat the pasta. Add the leftover grilled vegetables on top and sprinkle with goat cheese.

Cassie?s Notes:
This pasta salad can be served hot or cold. Leave out the cheese for a vegan adaptation.

When grilling the vegetables, we used Star Fine Foods garlic-infused olive oil, dried thyme, dried sage, salt and pepper and grilled them in a grilling basket for 15-20 minutes, tossing the veggies often. They get a nice char and grilled flavor and cook very evenly. Store the grilled vegetable leftovers in the refrigerator in an airtight container until making this pasta salad.

Alternately, you can roast the vegetables in a large baking dish at 400 degrees for 25-30 minutes until tender, tossing often.

Mayweather associate gets prison in Vegas shooting

(AP) ? An associate of Floyd Mayweather Jr. was sentenced Tuesday to two to five years in prison for shooting at two men in a car after they argued with the champion boxer at a Las Vegas skating center.

Ocie Harris, 30, of Chicago could have faced up to 18 years in prison after pleading an equivalent of no contest to three felony charges in the Aug. 23, 2009, shooting outside Crystal Palace Skate Center.

Prosecutor Samuel Bateman sought a 12-year sentence, arguing it was clear that Harris and Mayweather were associates and friends, and that Harris shot seven times in the crowded parking lot at a BMW sedan with two people inside.

Six shots hit the vehicle, but driver Damein Bland and passenger Quincey Williams were not wounded.

Clark County District Court Judge Douglas Herndon chose to run Harris' sentences concurrently and credited him with a month of time served. Harris also was ordered to pay almost $24,000 in restitution.

Mayweather wasn't charged in the case. His lawyers didn't immediately respond Tuesday to a message seeking comment.

Defense lawyer Tom Pitaro argued that prosecutors tried to pressure Harris to implicate the 35-year-old Mayweather in the incident.

Police said the dispute was about a text message Williams sent to Mayweather, saying he hoped the boxer would lose an upcoming fight.

Police claimed Mayweather threatened Williams by saying he could have him "trumped."

"Ocie Harris had no reason to shoot at these two people other than the beef they had with Floyd Mayweather," prosecutor Bateman said.

Harris avoided trial with his Alford plea in April. He didn't admit guilt but acknowledged that prosecutors could prove two counts of assault with a deadly weapon and one charge of firing a weapon into a vehicle.

Prosecutors dropped two attempted murder charges and one felony weapon charge as part of the plea agreement.

A separate civil lawsuit alleging Mayweather orchestrated the attack seeks monetary damages for Bland and Williams. The case is pending in Clark County District Court, with trial scheduled next July.

Mayweather's manager, Leonard Ellerbe, has characterized the lawsuit as an attempt to extort money from Mayweather and denied that he was involved in the shooting.

Police seized handguns, ammunition, bulletproof vests and two vehicles from Mayweather's home after the skate center shooting, but did not find the gun believed to have been used in the shooting.

Mayweather acknowledged being at the skating center but denied knowing anyone named Ocie and having any knowledge of a shooting. His lawyer, Richard Wright, said at the time that Mayweather was at the rink with his children, and the guns seized from his home were taken from security guards and registered to them.

Mayweather got out of jail earlier this month in Las Vegas after serving two months of a delayed 90-day sentence following his guilty plea last December in a September 2010 domestic battery case.

Mayweather was named by Forbes magazine as the world's highest-paid athlete for 2011. He is undefeated as a boxer and was guaranteed $32 million for a May 5 bout when he defeated Miguel Cotto.

Syria rebels claim 'revenge' downing of helicopter

Syrian rebels claimed they shot down an army helicopter during fierce fighting in Damascus on Monday, saying it was to avenge the "massacre" of over 330 people in the town of Daraya blamed on regime forces.

State television said the aircraft crashed near a mosque in the eastern district of Qaboon, where activists reported shelling, heavy fire by combat helicopters and clashes between government troops and Free Syrian Army rebels.

"It was in revenge for the Daraya massacre," Omar al-Qabooni, spokesman for the FSA's Badr battalion in Damascus told AFP, adding that rebels had found the body of the pilot after the helicopter plummeted to the ground in a ball of fire.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported intensified shelling by government forces after the helicopter came down in many areas of east Damascus where anti-regime sentiment is strong.

At least 35 people were killed, including children, the Observatory said, out of a nationwide death toll of 64 on Monday.

The FSA had previously said it shot down a Syrian warplane two weeks ago in the eastern province of Deir Ezzor and captured its pilot, but the claims cannot be independently confirmed.

The assault on the northeast of the capital was unleashed a day after opposition activists accused President Bashar al-Assad's regime of a gruesome new massacre in Daraya, southwest of the capital.

The Observatory said Monday that 334 bodies had now been found in the Sunni Muslim town after what activists described as brutal five-day onslaught of shelling, summary executions and house-to-house raids by pro-government forces.

The White House said the reports of the Daraya massacre were the latest evidence of Assad's "wanton disregard for human life," while Britain said it would be "an atrocity on a new scale" and the EU said it was "totally unacceptable."

Grisly videos issued by opposition activists showed dozens of charred and bloodied bodies lined up in broad daylight in a graveyard in Daraya, and others lying wall-to-wall in rooms in a mosque.

State media said the operation had "purified terrorist remnants" in Daraya, while pro-government television Al-Dunia said "terrorists" had carried out the killings.

Government troops launched the offensive last Tuesday in a bid to crush insurgents who have regrouped in the southwestern outskirts of Damascus after the regime claimed to have retaken most of the capital late last month.

And Assad vowed Sunday that he would not change course in the face of what he charged was a "conspiracy" by Western and regional powers against Syria, which has been convulsed by 17 months of bloodshed.

"The Syrian people will not allow this conspiracy to achieve its objectives" and will defeat it "at any price," Assad said at a meeting with a top official from Iran, Syria's chief regional ally.

Assad, head of an Alawite-led regime in the majority Sunni Muslim country, has since March last year been using deadly force to smother a popular uprising that has escalated into an armed insurgency.

Human rights groups have accused the regime of committing many atrocities during the conflict, and a UN panel said earlier this month it was guilty of crimes against humanity.

As the violence escalates, the regime has been abandoned by several high-profile figures but analysts say its inner core is intact and that Assad still has support from many in the Christian community and among certain sectors of the Sunni population.

Activists say around 25,000 people have been killed since March last year, while the United Nations says at least 200,000 people have fled to neighbouring countries and another 2.5 million are in need inside Syria.

Underscoring the growing humanitarian crisis, Turkey, which is struggling to cope with an influx of 80,000 refugees, said another 9,000 were now massed at the border awaiting for more camps to open.

Jordan and the UN Children's Fund appealed for financial aid to cope with the refugee exodus.

Fighting also erupted in other flashpoints on Monday, with the Observatory reporting shelling by government forces in the northern city of Aleppo and areas of the central city of Homs that have been besieged for over two months.

Despite their far superior firepower, government forces are struggling to defeat rebels who have built strongholds in many parts of the country, particularly the once-thriving commercial hub of Aleppo.

August is already the deadliest single month of the conflict with at least 4,000 people killed, according to the Observatory, and the violence escalating as the UN Security Council appears powerless to act.

Iran, Damascus's staunch ally which has been kept out of international efforts to end the bloodshed, said this week it is planning to submit a plan to end the conflict to a Non-Aligned Movement summit it is hosting from Thursday.

Syria's National Reconciliation Minister Ali Haidar, in Tehran for preparatory meetings for the summit, insisted that calls for Assad to step down are "completely unacceptable".

But in Germany, opposition activists said they have drafted a road map for a post-Assad future, drawing on examples from other states that moved to democracy such as South Africa.

Cool Fantasy Football Team Names

Cool Fantasy Football Team Names like this earn 5 Stars in my book! We've previously touched on what goes into the process of creating a good fantasy football name for your squad. A name must be original, unique, and humorous and, perhaps most importantly, must reflect on who you are as a person/coach. By that I mean a team name should give others - including rival coaches - an idea of what kind of person you are.

I've selected just a handful of my personal favourite names. I hope that these, in additional to my titles, offer you the right amount of inspiration to creative something of your own which is equally, or perhaps even more, brilliant!

  • The 40 Year Old Viking
  • is a name that is clearly a tip of the hat to the infamously popular, movie' The 40 Year Old Virgin.' I think the reason I consider this to be one of the cool fantasy football team names is because it doesn't feel the need to fall into the trap that most fantasy names do in terms of selecting offense terminology.

The team's head coach is clearly a movie fan, has a great sense of humour and is passionate about his favourite team: the Vikings. It ticks every box and is clever enough that you're likely to get a chuckle out of it when you read it. It's close to perfect in my book!

Indy mayor signs domestic partner benefits measure

    Published:?Thursday, August 23, 2012

    Updated:?Thursday, August 23, 2012 15:08

Indianapolis Mayor Greg Ballard has signed an ordinance extending the health care benefits of city employees to their domestic partners.

The Republican mayor tweeted Thursday he signed the ordinance that cleared the City-County Council last week.

Ballard had said that he preferred that the city offer benefits only to same-sex domestic partners because offering them to heterosexual partners might provide a disincentive to marry.

City officials have estimated that fewer than 30 of nearly 7,500 eligible workers would apply for the coverage. That would increase the city's health insurance costs by about $200,000, or less than 0.4 percent of the $58 million now spent.

Similar benefits are offered by other cities including Bloomington and Carmel; universities including Indiana, Purdue and Ball State; and private employers including Eli Lilly and Co.

    Hamilton's 5 RBIs, Moreland's double rally Rangers

    Associated Press Sports

    updated 12:04 a.m. ET Aug. 24, 2012

ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) - Ron Washington was in a grateful mood after his 500th win as manager of the Texas Rangers.

Josh Hamilton had five RBIs and Mitch Moreland doubled in the go-ahead run during a six-run eighth inning that carried Texas to a 10-6 victory over the Minnesota Twins on Thursday night.

"I think you have to give a lot of credit to the organization, the players, the coaches and everyone," said Washington, in his sixth season as a manager - all with the Rangers. "We got there fast. I didn't get there alone.

"I just hope I can be here and win 500 more."

Adrian Beltre had three hits, including his fourth homer in two days, and scored the tiebreaking run on Moreland's drive to left-center.

Minnesota starter Scott Diamond was ejected in the third by plate umpire Wally Bell after throwing a pitch behind Hamilton's head. Twins manager Ron Gardenhire also was tossed after immediately protesting Bell's decision.

"Anytime in an umpire's judgment they go in the head area, we have to take care of business. I felt at the time that he had to be ejected for it," Bell said.

Rangers starter Roy Oswalt had hit slugger Joe Mauer in the back in the preceding half-inning.

"I'm not going to get into that," Gardenhire said. "Everybody saw that, so I don't have to say anything about it.

"I've never seen it happen like that before."

A pair of Twins errors led to five unearned runs in the eighth as the AL West leaders sent 11 batters to the plate to break a 4-all tie. Geovany Soto, Ian Kinsler and Elvis Andrus also had RBIs in the inning.

Moreland entered in the sixth to replace designated hitter Michael Young, who left to witness the birth of his third son.

Beltre is hitting .529 with four home runs, two doubles and six RBIs in his last four games. He homered three times Wednesday night, twice in a nine-run fourth inning, and had five RBIs during a 12-3 victory over Baltimore.

Jared Burton (1-1) took the loss after giving up six runs on three hits and two walks in two-thirds of an inning.

Mike Adams (3-3) worked a scoreless eighth for the win. Joe Nathan entered in the ninth after Tanner Scheppers gave up two runs with two outs and converted his 22nd consecutive save opportunity and 25th of the season.

Minnesota left 14 runners on base.

Andrus' error on Denard Span's grounder to shortstop let in the first runs the Rangers' bullpen had given up in 18 innings.

Beltre hit a one-out double in the eighth and Nelson Cruz reached on third baseman Trevor Plouffe's error, setting the stage for Moreland's clutch hit.

David Murphy was intentionally walked to bring up Soto, who hit a grounder that shortstop Pedro Florimon bobbled for an error. Soto was credited with an RBI.

Kinsler drew a bases-loaded walk, Andrus knocked in a run with an infield single and Hamilton added a two-run single.

Oswalt started in place of Yu Darvish, skipped because of tightness in his right quadriceps. The right-hander gave up four runs and seven hits over 5 1-3 innings.

Diamond worked 2 1-3 innings, giving up two runs on three hits and two walks.

The Rangers took a 4-2 lead in the fifth on Beltre's 23rd home run and Hamilton's RBI single that scored Kinsler.

Oswalt was pulled after giving up successive hits to Matt Carson and Plouffe in the sixth.

Rangers reliever Michael Kirkman, who had retired 10 consecutive batters over his past three appearances, couldn't keep Oswalt's runners from scoring.

Carson came home on Florimon's groundout and Span tied it with a single.

Hamilton's double in the first scored Kinsler and Andrus to give Texas a 2-1 lead. The 2010 AL MVP is hitting .345 with 17 RBIs in the past 16 games.

"Down the stretch, he is our horse," Washington said. "So is Beltre, so is Moreland, so is Murphy. We've got a pretty good team."

NOTES: Span was back in the lineup after missing the previous nine games with a sore right shoulder sustained while diving for a ball in center field on Aug. 12 against Tampa Bay. ... Minnesota DH Josh Willingham was scratched because of a stiff neck. ... Washington said he doesn't expect catcher Mike Napoli back until Sept. 1. Napoli is on the disabled list with a strained left quadriceps.
